SECTION 1: REAL ESTATE SALESMAN COURSE

To become a licensed real estate agent, you must first complete the Real Estate Salesman Course, which opens for applications twice per year.

💰 Course Fee: $100,000 JMD

The course fee is payable once you are accepted into the programme. Please note that this is not the final cost of obtaining your real estate licence.

📚 Classes are conducted online, allowing you to complete the course remotely.

We assist with the application process for the Real Estate Salesman Course.

To apply, we will need:

• Five (5) CSEC/CXC subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at the General Proficiency Level, with Grades I, II, or III (as of 1998); or

• Five (5) GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, with Grades A, B, or C.

SECTION 2: REAL ESTATE LICENCE APPLICATION

After successfully completing the Real Estate Salesman Course, you will be required to apply for your real estate licence.

Licensing Requirements:

• Two (2) certified passport-size photographs certified by a JP or Attorney-at-Law

Please note: The JP certifying your photographs cannot be used as a reference.

• Three (3) reference letters from eligible persons, including:

* Justice of the Peace

* Minister of Religion

* Medical Doctor

* Police Officer

* Active Real Estate Dealer (excluding employer)

* Senior Teacher or Principal

* Civil Servant (Senior rank or above)

* Bank Manager

• Proof of Address (utility bill or letter from a JP confirming your address)

• Copy of TRN

• Police Report

• Bankruptcy Receipt from the Office of the Supervisor of Insolvency
